Steps to Employment
Our aim is to support you in the employment market. We work with services such as the Jobcentre Plus, Reeds and Bootstrap Enterprises. We also work with employers by helping them to make their workplaces accessible for Deaf people and providing consultations, advice and training.
This service is for both Deaf people and employers. For Deaf people we provide:

- Self Confidence Building Skills
- Interview Preparation
- Work Experience
- Volunteering
- Training Courses
- Help with applying to companies
- Improving skills on computer
- Help with Access to Work

Setting Up Your Own Business
So you want to start up your business but not sure where to begin? Maybe you have a brilliant idea but need help to move it forward? This is where we come in. Our service is for Deaf people who dream of running their own business and we can take you step by step through what is needed to be done.
We can support you with:
- Step by step guide on achieving the successful business
- Creating the business plan
- Budget
- Applying for funding to start up business
- Support and advice from the business owners
- Training/courses
