We provide services for different people groups and understand the diverse communication needs of Deaf BSL users, Deafblind people, Hard of Hearing people and those who have lost their hearing later in age. We have regular Hard of Hearing groups in Lancaster, Burnley and Leyland and can set up different forums and support groups and offer information about hearing equipment and courses. We are aware that people have different needs and we aim to provide suitable support.
Our Community Development Officers have been trained to provide advocacy support for people and organisations who require any kind of advice.
One of our staff members is a trained IMCA (Independent Mental Capacity Advocate) and can be called for support.
